I have a 86 5spd Mitsubishi trans 4x4 with 2.9. My motor is about shot. So I was looking around and found that the 2.3 has a lot of mods you can do. Is this basicly a drop in swap. Just change engine harnesses and exhaust? Maybe bellhousings? Possibly fuel lines?. Would I come out cheaper doing...

Hopefully I uploaded the picture right. Hope to put a 6" stack on my ranger going to run a quiet flow master and make a adapter to go from 2.5" to 6" hope it comes out like expected. Any tips?
