Cat replacement on a california truck... in texas
Here's the deal. I am currently driving my 89 2.9L ranger around in Texas for what may end up being a 2+ year gig. The cat is plugged and needs replacement. I plan on registering the vehicle in Texas for now while I live/work here, so I think I'm okay for getting a reasonably priced 49-state...- patrick260z

89 2.9L kicks & bucks at cruise
I've got a 89 2.9L V6 Ranger. At cold seems to do city drive ok, but misses under acceleration to highway speed (heavy throttle). Once up to temperature, shutters and bucks while cruising. If I leave my foot in the same position the truck goes from 70 down to 60 before coming to life again, and...- patrick260z
