i have a set of gauges out of a 2002 ford explorer will they fit and work right in my ranger.

Okay I have a 2002 ford ranger 4x4. It came stock with 16 " and I need to know can I put 15" rims on it instead of 16. I think I know I can but just to make sure and show this ass that it will work with out mods.
