well my brakes have been acting funny since i went to the rockwell axles with pinion brakes (toyota 4 piston calipers). the power brakes are hard to push and when i apply the brakes, the pedal sticks... i have to lift the pedal to get the brakes to release... bad booster? bad master? any...

well the ranger project has finally come together and ive completed it! payoff time now, i took it out and roasted a tire, 'till it started wheelhoping! :headbang: alot more power than before... needless to say i am VERY pleased. thanks to everyone for the good advice and help thru the hard...

okay so most of you already know what ive been building for my ranger, for those who dont... ive replaced a tired 2.0 with a j/y 2.3 which i had a valve job done cleaned up the bottom end added a new melling std oil pump, windage tray, roller cam, and adapted the efi intake to a holley 350 cfm...

okay so ive got my hyd roller cam setup, the machine shop told me i need lash caps to keep the goemetry correct. my question is, did ford use lash caps on the roller motors factory? or did they have longer valves?

i feel like one, i am trying to get the balancer off my 2.3 and am at a loss... ive never seen a balancer puller which would attach to it. it doesnt have bolt holes for a pulley. am i missing something? there is a simple/stupid solution right? HELP!

i bought an 88 ranger 2.0 yesterday, the carb is giving problems,so i was wondering what carb swap options would work... i was told a pinto carb would bolt on the stock inake if the egr spacer was removed and an adapter installed. this would be only a temporary fix till i get the other motor...
