Need a little brainstorming session here guys.
Just got my 1999 XLT back on the road after sitting for 4 years in a field. Surprisingly everything still works pretty good (after re-doing the brakes, putting in a new battery, and just general cleaning and maintenance).
Anywho, just found out...
So I have a 2007 Ford Ranger Sport (3.0 Manual) and a 1999 Ford Ranger XLT (4.0 OHV Auto).
My 3.0 in the 2007 is developing a pretty good knock. I'm going to try a couple of quick fixes (like thicker oil, etc) and see if it helps, but I've at least been tossing around the idea of swapping in...
