    So I swapped from a 2.3 5 speed to a 4.0 auto trans from a 94 explorer. But my ranger driveshaft does not fit into the explorer transmission. The connection on the new tranny is smaller in diameter than the connection on my stock driveshaft.... ?? What?

    So I'm doing my swap. And I come across this harness that I believe goes to the trans and the fuel pump/brake lights. And the plugs are different, and there are way more wires on the ranger harness than on the explorer harness that is going in. What I would like to do it splice the wires to fit...
