I have a 87 ford ranger and its a 4wd and I have a 83 ford ranger 2wd, I was wondering if I can swap the rear end out and put the 83 rear end in the 87? alot of the part's switch over but I'm not sure about the rear end. Thanks in advance.

I have a 83 2.8 v6 with a 2 barrel on it and I took the automatic choke off and put a manual one on it. I took the whole automatic assembly off because the plastic piece broke, not sure what it is called but, it was attached to a lever that was below the automatic choke. I ran the manual cable...
