Brand new 2021 F350 SRW Super-Cab Lariat 148" wheel base
Very subtle vibration comes on around 90 km/h and is gone at 115..... the vibration is everywhere... steering wheel, console, seat of my pants.
feels like a drive line vibe but I cant imagine my drive shaft is spinning fast enough to create the amplitude of the vibration with the 3:55 gears.
I was thinking 2 bad U-Joints or splined of sync that would oscillate 3 or 4 times in one rotation going to put the temp gun on them this afternoon with some highway driving.
I'm putting the local dealer on notice on Monday and will start working through the issue with them. After some searching it seems to be a relatively rare problem but not not new.
I'm switching to studded Nokian Hakkapeliitta winter tires next month so that will see if it is a tire issue. Again the amplitude of the vibe in my experience does not feel like a tire.
It feels like "rumble strips" the "wake-up your leaving your lane" notches cut in the pavement. only smaller, but about the same frequency.
any advise or experience would be appreciated.
Thanks eh......
