I say grab it if its in good shape. 2100 is not a bad price. And if it sits for 5 years, you know its only going to go up in price.

2wd or 4wd?

the brakes are a bit of a bitch to adjust right.so prepare for alot of cuss words. Also bleeding the system is a load of cuss words.

just a tip, if it has the org. wheel studs, left side will be left hand threads and the right side will be right hand thread.
if you pick is up, I have a hand full of tech links.
hers the one sitting in my yard, its a 52, with a 265 chevy v-8,warn overdrive, and since the pic was taken now has a pto wench getting ready to go on.

http://www.jeep-trucks.com/WOJP/index.html and a little reading just in case you would like, its a truck, but pretty much the same concept on most parts.

I guess the point is that the $2100 is the price of entry...into the project, which will consume your time and money as you try to get it right. Probably not a bad idea-- if your heart is in it. I often times get tempted by seemingly affordable things, then end up thinking that for the same money I could have something simpler, newer, more reliable...(B2 for ex.) It depends on if you want the project for the sake of having a cool old ride, and are willing to expend the necessary resources.... sounds fun though.

thanks for the info all!!!!!.............its a very tempting project.but then theres my ranger i really need to finish.iam looking into renting some shop space for the fall/winter to go ahead with the axle swap and finish up on the rest, the 2100 bucks would go along way for that.
