Totally awesome commercial. At least in my area though most farmers don't really do much with livestock anymore but I do see a lot of my grandparents generation on it. The older lady with a ballcap and a stocking hat is a spitting image of my grandmother who was kind of notorious for goofy but effective headgear.

Paul Harvey was awesome too, used to listen to him every morning while waiting for the school bus. :icon_thumby:

Cool commercial...missed it on the Super Bowl but I've seen enough blurbs about it...as for goofy headgear...that looks like what I wear in the winter...touque over my cap...very effective...:)

I'm from a family of farmers. They are about the hardest working people I've ever known.

It would have been a great commercial, but then they took that pic of the Dodge. Blech - Have I told y'all about my co-worker in his 2500 who was driving down the road, looked in his rear view mirror and his driver's side tire was about two feet left of where it was supposed to be? Axle completely came out of the rear-end. After my experiences with a Caravan, I look down my nose at all Chrysler products.

I come from a long line of farmers myself.

I showed it to my grandfather who farmed with Case and drove Studebaker trucks until 1970 when he bought a brand new 3/4 ton Dodge truck. He all but jumped out of his chair at the Case 600 (he has an 800) and then stated that he had never seen such an ugly truck at the end. :icon_rofl:
