My son just bought a 1997 2wd 4cyl regular cap ranger. We live in the country and one of the headlights is burned out and it was holding water. Are any of the replacement clear lenses any good? Trying to find some new lights to make the little truck look better and have some good lights. My son is 16 in a month and we are trying to get the truck already for it to be his daily driver. Thank you for any suggestions

Deengineer until it is how Blue Oval should have sold it!!
@Sigpros ,
I do not have experience with the newer light housings but with the 1987, H4 bulb...

I gave ANZO of anzousa.com a shot. It is a replacement housing that allows me to change bulbs without removing the housing. I like the look much more. Have been installed for 4 years. Being able to change bulbs offered me a greater selection of bulbs for both legal on-road and more powerful off-road use (not legal for on road).

I found them on amazon.com. The other 2 brands that I was considering were:
• V-spec (Amazon.com)
• Hella (summitracing.com)
All three companies offer quality housing alternatives to the stock housing ..)

My credo
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
I had some from eBay. But, although I liked the look, I was never real happy with quality and fit.

I just used AutoZone for mine. I did not look for something to blind oncoming vehicles, just got the regular replacements
The covers should have a drain opening in bottom to allow any water or condensation to drain
