Identifying CA Emissions or Fed Emissions on a 93 Ford Ranger.

Can anyone tell what emissions one has from looking at the Vin # on the vehicle, and or are there other ways of telling also. Such as a door jamb sticker. If that's so, what numbers would I be looking at on the door jam.

Should an emissions sticker under the hood on the radiator support.

If not on the rad support, look on the hood, but the rad support is more common.

1993 4.0l with Calif emissions will have an EGR system and a Cam Sensor
Federal will not have either until 1995 and up

Where your sticker says "U.S. EPA Regulations", it would say " and California Regulations"
