I did the first one at 45 000 miles.. I ONLY DID THE FLUID CHANGE at the oil change place.. where they hook it up to the machine and just change the fluid..
im wondering if maybe my filter is pluggin up! BUT again only has issue when it got cold! .. Tech said thats cause fluid is cold and causin high pressure.

either way Ill drop the pan in the spring (another month) and do a complete trans service.

it currently has 73 000 miles now

There is a big debate on the machine fluid change on whether they are any good or not. If done right and with the correct fluid, it generally shouldn't do any harm. Me personally, I don't trust shops to do it right or use the right fluid. So, drain and fill it is in my driveway. I don't want to fire up another debate on it. So, I'll just leave it at that.

on my 02 Ranger I did nothing BUT fluid changes at the shop with the machine.. never had an issue. BUT with this issue, im gonna drop the pan and change the filter and fluid. Just to check that off the list of just in case..
and my 02 Ranger had over 300 000 miles when a taxi pulled in front of me and i couldnt stop in time..
