I built a Tamiya R/C one time. It was very easy, the direcetions were really good. Mind you I was probably 10-11 when I did that.

I bet you could put that together with only glancing at the directions a couple times... Tamiya R/C's are very easy to build.

And, I'm sure you know, but that is not a model... It's a good quality R/C car.

$300 is a deal for that. New, from Tamiya, I think they are around $4-500.

that might be a collectors item, I would be inclined to keep it in the box.

Pretty sure you have to buy a RC controller to go with it. They are expensive because it uses more than one channel to control it.

I wanted the Tamiya F-250 a while back.

That one isn't the collectors. The original hi-lux is the collectors. That is just a re-issue of the Tamiya Ford F-350(I forget the name of it) with the Toyota body. Tamiya has good quality RC's, with good, easy to follow directions. I have 4 of their RC's and they are all great..........

A radio would be $80-150 I would think. You can either use a 2 channel or a 3 channel for that as far as I know (one for steering, one for throttle, and one for shifting).

I think if I got one of these I would lower it a bit... I think the body looks kinda funky being up so high with such small tires...

I think in a few years it will be a collectors item.
