What is the difference between the Styleside and Flareside factory rear step bumpers? I have a Styleside the needs a new top bumper pad. Ford wants over $400.00 for that pad while the Flareside pad is $150.00. I don't want to do aftermarket as they are generally from China, Cheaply constructed, poorly fitting and missing molded in bumper load carrying info. Suggestions of Info?

The step side bumper is narrower than the regular bed. Beyond that, I can’t say.

If Ford has $400 model and $150 model you can bet they are not the same size, lol
Stepside/flareside is narrower in the rear because wheel wheels are on the outside of bed, so narrower bumper as said

LMC Truck should have it, but not sure where it is made, you can email them and ask that about specific part numbers once you look it up

So build your own bumper with a step as I did for my 2002 Ranger. See the bumper section on this website:
