My shifter motor has not worked rite for a few years. I think something in the buttons was messed up. I got it to work by cutting the power and ground wires in the motor and running a wire to them with a toggle switch to put it in 4 or 2 wd. This worked for 3 years. Now the stupid motor is stuck in the 4 low position. I took it apart and it worked, when i tested it a 2nd time it got jammed again. I got a junkyard motor, and it worked once or twice and jammed too.
Did i just have 2 crappy motors? or is there some other issue? I dont hold the switch and burn the motor, u can hear it turn adn just let off when it hits 4 wd. Any ideas?/
