I have the oppertunity to buy a used Fisher Minute Mount plow off a 97 Ranger. Question is are the frames of the 1997 and frames of the 2004 the same? I have a 2004 FX4 Level 1 and want to know if the push plates will fit.

Does Fisher have a website? Also, I think Reese makes a receiver for the front so you could see if the two years have the same part number.

The fact that between those years Ford changed from TTB to SLA, I'm inclined to say they are drastically different. The way Fisher mounts their push-plates so close to the frame makes me think the same too.

Fisher says the plates need to be 25 5/8" apart so ill get under mine with a tape measure see what I come up with. I miss my plow I had on my 99 so Im seeing if I can get another one. Also it will give me something to kill time with little sanding and paint never hurt anything.

The 98'+ are about 3" wider overall than from the 1997 and before. I've bought wrong parts before, that's how I at least know.

Eh, shit happens I went up and measured with the plates for the plow and the frame is wider so oh well saves money.
