Also went to Speedy Dyno in Owensboro on Sat. Was not impressed at all. Won't EVER go back. Their building was built for RWD cars and when I put my car on there, there was no room in front for the fan. So basically it sat there baking in its own heat with no air circulating at 7k rpms. They could have blown my motor very easily. I recommend everyone avoid that shop at all costs. I am now looking for a professional place to get my car dynoed if anyone has any suggestions.

Not much going on here as it is just sitting for winter, but I had an idea. Now that I have a bender and a welder, I am thinking about building my own traction bars. Any input?

Lakewood traction bars for the Focus:

damn, your car definitely makes me miss my foci! i will have to get another one when my ranger becomes a designated wheeler. How are you liking the supercharger? it would have to think that definitely put the icing on the cake.

Thanks. I love the supercharger. Especially since making my own pulley to push the psi from 9 to 15 :D

Yeah I am on both FJ and FF, but I hate FJ and I am hardly ever on there. In fact:

Sporting FF in the B2 :icon_thumby: You over there Fango? Whats your SN?

I've been on that forum a couple times searching for stuff to fix my buddy's focus. pretty nice guys, from what I've seen.

I've been fightin' with a P0102 an a P0171 code on it that I haven't been able to sort out. I guess it's not a common problem since I didn't find much help on there.

I approve of this car. Even though it's a car.

Haven't seen P0102, but I have seen P0171. Normally I would just say you need a new O2 sensor, but since you are getting a MAF code too, then that is probably causing both problems. I would clean the MAF, then reset the ecu. If that doesn't work, then try a different MAF.

Got just the p0171 code first, then after a while the maf code came on too. Cleaned the maf, swapped the maf, same code.

I bought him New 02 sensors for Christmas so we'll see what happens when I get them installed.

Thanks for the tips tho! I tend to start thinking I'm on the wrong track when I don't see results quick enough.

Hmm bizarre. Can't imagine something else causing that code.

yeah im on the jet, not too much anymore though and im not on fanatics, my sn is redz3xy on the jet. planning on putting a blower on my duratec not too many people have blown the dura motors. last mod i did was the cosworth manifold and i still need a tune, might do the blower then get it on the rollers and get a good tune.

A rough guess, o2 sensor is out of whack, and after resetting the ECU so many times it just noticed the maf and o2 sensor were giving different data and said "screw it, I'm complaining about both"

At least that's the best I can come up with at the moment. :icon_rofl:

Well thats probably becasue they don't make a kit for the Duratec. IMO if you have the Duractec, then I would turbo it. You have the 2.0 or 2.3?

Oh and I am wanting to build a pretty wicked looking strut tower bar too. I had to discard my last one because it rubbed the throttle body after installing the blower. I am looking for some ideas on that too.
