hi , im in the middle of fixing the rear frame (rusted out behind the rear spring hangers) and making up a new mounting point for my rear bumper , i could have swaped the rear frame section for a rust free one , or cut the frame rails off infront of the hangers , replaced the hangers and welded in new metal , but overall the frame is still pretty solid and the hangers are still good , so im going this route , so far i've removed the bumper mounting bolts (that was fun) , removed the rear bumper , and am in the beginning stages of cleaning up the frame and spare tire carrier , the plan thus far is to buy eight grade 8 bolts , nuts , and lock washers , and use two roughly 13'' long by 1 1/2x1 1/2 pieces of angle iron bolted to the frame (farther forward) and bolted to the original bumper brackets , anyway thats the plan , we'll see how well it works lol
