Took these while waiting for a tow because of a broken rocker arm. Doesn't look half bad out in the sun.

thats a good looking truck, i like how the rear tires tuck. and that 545 is a huge freakin engine.

Man that looks nice. Is everything ok with the engine, besides the broken rocker?

Holy snot. That truck is SICK as HELL. a 545, good lord I can imagine the torque twist off the light.

Hope the engine is fine after that. Great looking engine bay its like auto porn lol. So does it hook up or just blow the tires off with that monster? My old man and I built a mild 514 that had a hard time hookin in a fullsize truck I cant imagine how that would be.

Thanks guys. I have really tried hard to take my time and do this project right.

Motor is fine. Just had to order some new (higher quality) rockers. Here's the busted one:

It's what I get for running generic no name ebay rockers with a solid roller cam. I pulled the intake and inspected everything else. It was fine.

It is most certainly a monster to drive. It will burn the tires just about any time you want to. I have not had it to the track yet, as that is where I was headed when it broke.

you cant put that in there..its too big and powerful...it will hurt the frame.

by the time you reinforce the frame it will be too heavy to drive or something.....:icon_confused: thats probably why it broke the rockers, its too tight in there and the massive frame twist popped it silly and it broke from the 700 pounds of torque...

:dunno:

hey thats what i learned from searching:dunno::dunno:

you know i am bull shittin...:icon_thumby:....

if there were a lesser beast in there the color would be questionable:thefinger:

WOW, that is crazy! i'd poop myself if i popped your hood for the first time! But doesnt sound too good about tweaking your frame...hope you can work that out with that beast

Damn good lookin truck. That thing looks well planned out.
But, you should switch that hot air intake into a cold one. Just a thought.
But again, awesome truck.

lmao

Hey it's a govt surplus truck, can't be choosy with the color!

God , in a 4x4 you would have to have a atlas and rockwell axles !

That's a hell of a sleeper! What are you using for engine management?
