it was $600 shipped to my door. its a pretty nice hunk of steel with a winch mount and places for lights. weighs 95lbs and is STURDY

I couldnt get anymore picts of it today cuz the sun went down, but Ill try and get some more up tomorrow from a real camera (i used my phone's).

I saw some ranger specific skid plates on the sight but nothin bumperwise....got a part number?

-andrew

its part number S1321A, and its a T13 Bull Bar. It was very hard to find any companies that still have em because I think it has been discontinued. The place I bought it from said they "only had a couple left in stock".

However if you dont like the bull bar look TJM sells a T17 Bar which is just the bumper, no hoops, or guards, just the bumper channel and is more widely available. its the same bumper, just minus everything else welded on to it.

Also make sure your going to the USA TJM site, not the Austrailian one.

Cool, and thanks for the info....I've got a few buddies looking for something like that, I just fab my own.....lol

Wow, that bumper looks sick. Makes the truck look real purdy.

Ok here are some more pictures with a real camera

Any opinions on what to do with the hitch? Delete it? Keep it?

I'd cut the hitch tube off and weld it on top of the cross tube.

-andrew

Thats a good idea. maybe i could cut the whole cross tube out and re weld it up 2.5-3" and then angle the 1/4" plate on the sides

----------- / Like that (side view)

Just another idea.
I kind of like having it there more as rock protection that for any hitch purposes. I figure it might save my tierods and pitman arm offroading

I agree it needs lights AND a winch. But my budget doesnt like me right now and thinks thats a bad idea.:bawling:

that is a cool bumper, it may save you in traffic some time.

this is what happens with a brush guard

I know, its a lexus LX450, not a Mazda but you get the Idea

Wow that bumper really did its job. i hope nobody was hurt in that accident. Just another reason to justify the large price tag of the bumper, which is alot less than repairs.

does anybody know how TJM compares to ARB in terms of duribilty and strength?

according to the original poster on mud, nobody was hurt, just the pride of the girl driving the honda thingy. According to Slea offroad, as long as they are built right they are all comparible in protection and strength, ARB is way over priced....... but then again everything for am 80 serries LandCruiser is over priced.
