My nephew found this on his 1995 F-150. It's not factory (no Ford stamp)
I told him that it is probably an aftermarket gas saving gadget. Hope the pics show good.

its a doodad....put it back on the doohickey and you'll be fine.

woah, woah, woah, buddy....are you trying to give the man bad advice? you never, under any circumstances, put a doodad on a doohicky. it'll cause the thing-a-ma-jig to vibrate too much and wear out the whatchamacallit

The only way to put a doodad on a doohickey is the put a whosy-whatsit in between as a vibration damper. Thats just common sense.

No, no, and NO....the doohicky goes on top of the whatchamacallit and the dangburnit doodad goes in between the thing-a-ma-jig .....lol
