Hello Everyone,
I'm going to replace the two rear parking brake cables on my 1996 ford ranger, 2x4, reg. cab.
Does anyone have any tips for disconnecting the front cable from the rear cable from the cable connector?
Here is a photo of the connector I'm referring to:

I've had it soaking in Kroil for the past week now.
