I have several old TurboCoupe engines lying around. I'm building my Maverick using a '94 Ranger harness and ECU. I want to stay 8 plug and MAF. I am upgrading the pistons and plan on running at 8.5:1 compression with about 10lbs. of boost.
Has anyone put together such a build with success?

From my reading, they have. It's just they are probably not that interested in
helping someone else through the process. I, too have been contemplating putting a turbo on my 2.3. Sadly, I don't have the funds to proceed.

Rewire the '94 harness to work with the turbocoupe computer (only a handful of wires need rearranged) and use the VAM from the turbo engine, it'd be more work trying to work with the '94 computer and MAF.

It shouldn't really be too tough, I'm running an '85 turbo engine and ECM with an '89 Ranger wiring harness, 4 spark plugs with DIS (I didn't feel like changing heads when I did the swap so only 4 plugs, should have...) and it runs very well.
