Little Help with a 302 that is getting swapped in


yea, my fi2.3 was worn out, and smoked like a G.I. in WWII, there where times that it couldn't pull out of it's own way, I was so tickled when I pulled that engine out, and at the time had gotten a 93 Explorer in trade that I was going to use the engine out of, but that was another time and the past.

That carb as crappy as it was for idling and whatnot, when you put your foot into it, you knew you had opened a big can of worms. If I had known how to rebuild it tune it better, etc...I would have kept it. But it just had to many variables for a DD.
