Is there an easy way to keep track of how much is downloaded each month? My isp has informed me they are putting download limits on all the accounts and I would like to keep track of mine so that I don't go over.

Thanks for the links. The first one appears to be for a mac and I should have mentioned I'm running pc's, some with 98 on. The second link I went through twenty pages without finding anything that appealed. I'm surprised that it's not something that has been asked on here before.

Your ISP should, and that is their responsibility, provide you with an account balance for downloads...I've seen them on Bell accounts so I know that some ISPs do offer this service...especially when they start charging you for anything over your monthly limit...

Yeah, they can easily keep track of it and should send notifications of what your useage is like a few times a month...

Sounds like a bunch of slackers to me..

The download limits were not the idea of my isp, the problem is the crtc has allowed bell, that owns the lines to increase its charges for data transfer. Every time the government gets its fingers into things the poor people get raped again.

Just find a simple bandwidth monitor if you only use your PC, you can see how much bandwidth you use. Of course if you use a laptop on your network or PS3 / 360 it won't help either.
