Figured I might as well give this topic a bump with some pictures from this year's riding season. The KX500 started stock, ended up with FMF gnarly, handquards, and an oversize desert fuel tank.

Beautiful bike man, glad to see a KX 500 still alive and kicking. I'm a huge two-stroke fan, I'll be riding one for as long as I can.

I have two bikes. My personal fave, 1999 Suzuki RM 125. I also have a 2000 Yamaha YZ-F 426 that I inherited from my dad. I typically stick with my RM, but I use the YZ for big hill climbs, or when I need more power. I don't have any good action pics, all my riding is trail/enduro/hair and hound type stuff. However, here is one from back when I first got my 125. I think I was about 13 or so years old at the time:

Poor quality, I know. It was taken from far away and cropped quite a bit.

Here's a few of just the bikes in general (from oldest to newest):

Better pic after the re-build (and new front forks), in my still messy garage

I don't have too many pictures of the YZ. Used to have a bunch, but lost em when my computer crashed.

This one is just a silly picture of me, my sister, cousin, and good friend "posing" with our bikes:

(From left to right) My Cousin with my YZ, friend of mine with her XR 200, my Sister with her XR200, and Me being awesome.

I'll end this post with probably my favorite picture ever:

Me (yellow), my dad (blue), and a few friends and family hittin' the hills. We were parked at the time, obviously, but I just like the un-intended pose.

Anyways, sorry for the lack of action shots. I do 99% trail/enduro, so I never have the time to stop and have someone snap a shot :icon_twisted:

I ride street...would like to get more into offroad if I had the time. I thought I would with the DRZ but it's a bit heavy for me, I have a much easier time on something like a WR250F.

My current ride is a 2008 Suzuki DRZ400SM. Wife rides an '08 Kawi Ninja 250.

My DRZ is for sale, actually...

Trying to get it sold and buy something TOTALLY different next spring...a Harley Iron 883.

My bike is the black '08 Suzuki DR200SE. I went for the dual sport over pure dirt. My buddies bike is the yellow '08 Suzuki RMZ-250

the drz is heavy but i use the weight to my advantage as much as i can... it doesnt get shoved around or off the trail as easily, and as any bike you have to have ths susp tuned just right mine handles better if i stay a little on the plush side

yeah, I find it about perfect for stuff like fire roads with mostly rock, hardpack, even gravel but it's a little too much for me to handle in mud or sand...and in Oklahoma that's pretty much the choices in riding locations. If I was closer to the Rocky mtns I'd be singing a different tune. I rode there last year and had a blast.
