Just checked my Vin in the above link and looks like Im included. No letter yet, but Im the 2nd owner..so I wonder if he got it.

Received my recall letter last week. I am the third owner for this truck. I think the only reason I was contacted so soon is. Six months ago I requested a build sheet for my truck with the information I found on the TRS website. They put me through hell to prove I was the current owner but once I satisfied there requirements the sent me the requested information. Called the local Ford dealer near work. They gave me an appointment for Monday 11/09 at 12:00. I arrived at the dealer at 11:55 and check in with a service manager. They attached the new harness and I was on my way by 12:15. ( The sales personal did not even have a chance to pounce on me before that call be back to say the truck was ready.)

Got one for my 2001 yesterday. First one I had got for it. It dosent have cruise control. I have been getting recall notices for my 99 for about a year now.

wish my '93 was included, my cruise quit working a month or so ago. maybe the replacement part could have fixed it.

Bought my current Ranger in July after some dolt ran a stop sign and T-boned my beloved '97 Ranger. Got the recall letter a few days ago, drove to the dealership yesterday and barely had time to check out the new 2010s before my truck was done. Easy peasy. It might be twenty years since I was in the service dept. of a Ford dealership.
