No Sound...

Just about every day this week, when I start up the latop, there is no sound. I have to do a system restore to get it back.
What is causing this and how can it be stopped?

I'm running 64bit Vista
 
Half the Windows updates cause mine to go out.
Comes back after a shut down-restart thou.
 
Yes, after windows updates. Glad it's not just me.
I'll try the restart next time. It didn't do it today.
