i just run it....let it cool....fill....run it...let it cool....fill....
but i also have a 4L rad on my 2.9L so it could have next to no antifreeze in it and it will be at the M in norm LOL
hell at highway speed i just get off the bottom of the guage

Thats how I do mine just drive it a while and top it off works great.Got the thick radiator too ditto on the gauge
