93 explorer 5.0 into 89 bronco II

Greetings Ford fans-just found the site"nice"!!! I was in a bone yard the other day and noticed an OEM 5.0 in a 93 explorer 4x4 and thought "wow" would that be nice in my 89 Bronco II. I know a v/8 in a II is nothing new, but this swap looks like a match made to order. My plan would be to buy the complete vehicle and swap out everything:engine,engine wiring harness, trans, transfer case, axles etc... Whadyathink? Anyone done this particular swap out there?

Ford did not offer a 5.0 in a 93 exploder. Might want to recheck

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I'm gonna go back and check it out tomorrow. Funny thing is we saw the same configuration in two bone yards. Perhaps the boys at the yard marked the wrong year, but they were definitly Explorers ! I will copy the VIN's and pass them along.

OK, OK, boy do I feel stupid. Did a little research. Found "96" was first year for 5.0 in explorer. [ Do not trust what they write on the windows in bone yards ] So, this being the case it whatchathink about the swap?
