Im new here just figured I would show what Im working on. When I got the truck it had stock suspension, but it had shaved doors and tailgate. I have made some changes tell me what you think.
I got a new grill and a bumper off of a 00 explorer, as well as a light smoke on the lights.
alittle tint on the tails with alot of polish, the cops up in Redding, ca are rediculous so i only wanted enough tint to tell, but not black them out
As you can tell I ditched the shaved doors and got a set of factory ones, with handles, and a new tail gate.
So far the interior was updated alittle with a full length explorer center console, an explorer over head console and 00 explorer bucket seats. This is gonna be my daily driver so i want it comfortable.
As for the suspension I put on a Rough Country 4" lift kit with 1.5" coil spacers, and for the rear I threw away the blocks and got an add a leaf from pro comp and an 8.8 traction-loc with 4.10 gears. I replaced every bushing with Energy Susp polyurathane. I also put a Pro Comp single stabilizer kit up front.
Im running a set of BFG 285/70/17 ATs on 17x9 Cragar soft eights, ill post pics with those wheels on as soon as I take them since I just got them after my 15X8 d spokes with 32x11.5's were stolen off it.
I will post more pics soon.
