Well here how bad crazy bored I am,:icon_twisted: I went and bought a 1941 Ranger, like I don't have enough planes as it is, Thank God "IlovemybroncoII" is trading me me a 89 broncoII for all my planes:yahoo:, guess he will get a extra plane.:icon_thumby:

repeat the last few pictures, for the other half of the wing, so far this is 5 days of work and spending 10 to 12 hours a day building.

I have to do a bunch of sanding before I can join the two wing halfs, and also have to cut the elevator loose from the horz. stab., and cut the rudder loose from the vert. stab.

stay tune, same ranger time, same ranger channel :icon_confused:

Well if "IlovemybroncII" brings the broncoII soon, I won't have time. also if I did finish it all the way, I can't decide on silk/dope or tissue/dope, it's a old style plane, and would not look right with film on it, also it's a electric motor plane and slow flyer.

Silk is a bit expensive, so it would have to be tissue.

Hardest part of the build is the sanding, just when you think you have it smooth, you need to sand it some more.

here is the main wing halves joined together

Here is the tail section minus the rudder and elavators

Here is what the fuse looks like with the wings rubberbanded in place

now I just have to do a lot more sanding to get it smooth, then cover it, I'm going with a fake silk, and dope. Going to be mostly white with orange trim.
