ive got an 86 ranger with a 2.9 in it. im tired of blowing them up. i have already gone through 3 of them in 5 years. the trucks been sitting in my yard for more than a year now, and im tired of looking at it.
i found an 83 diesel ranger on craigslist thats stock. 2wd and 5spd.
how hard would it be to pull the diesel motor and put it in my 86 gas truck?
what problems would i run into?
wiring? fuel? tranny? motor mounts? etc.
