meh, i never bought an apple product in my life nor wanted, im only 17 and it seems like im the only person who didn't want an ipod/iphone. hell, my phone i used in highschool was a 1993 analog motorola microtac on pageplus cellular. this was from 06 to early 08 when they shut off analog cellular in the bay area. i could get service prettymuch everywere, and had people with ATT phones, including iphones ask to borow my phone(without knowing its a brick) cause they either got no service or there battery is shot. i recently activated a 10 year old motorola startac on pageplus and used it for when i was working, the danm 10 year old phone worked better than most other phones around me, att phones weren't on verizons level. ive only owned 1 macintrash pc, a 1992 mac "pizza box" with a 20 mhz motorola 68k cpu. the danm thing didn't work, it was a free one i found, turned out to have corrosion on the mother board... piece of crap. i work in the pc repair industry, and ive seen alot of dead apple laptops. there new designs and style attributes to there fall, for example, there chargers are know for having the cord come out of the charger connector, cause the wire gauge is small, and there no casing that holds it in securly. also, macbooks were known for overheating. on top that, there desktops are a bitch to fix cause they use special mac parts, yet are slower than pc's of the same era. ive had guys trade in g3's and g4's to get old beater pentium 2s and 3s with xp on them. apple products are for people who want to show off and are mainly status symbols. more advanced/reliable hardware is avalible and cost less, and less restricted too
