Default disciplerocks's B2 build thread

Finally going to make me a thread. Not going to go crazy. Just going to add some stuff little by little. Now some of this has been posted elsewhere, but I reposted to get yall caught up on where I stand....

89 Bronco II XLT purchased 5-19-10 for $700
Here is the pic from the ad

And here are pics I took when I got her home.

Here is my buddy Doodle.

Then I did a couple things. Added Explorer console, painted grill black, Explorer radiator, Explorer leafs and drop shackles, washers and F150 coils.

And then I decided to lift a bit more. 5-5.5" budget suspension lift.

And one of the B2 and the Focus

And a day later, the CV driveshaft said F#%$ that!

Of course after lifting it on my DIY POS lift brackets, I had to try them out and they held up beautifully. Aftermath:

I like posting pics so I'll keep this thread updated. I have "real" 4" brackets in the mail and I just picked up some rims with a better offset for $50. Will post a pic soon.

Yes soon! I just picked up some new rear shocks today. My stock ones are completely extended as it sits now.

Since I don't own a welder, I just cut a piece of angle iron and a piece of flat steel for each axle. Drilled 2 holes in them and bolted them up. Kinda like a drop shackle for leafs. It was only supposed to be for a short time until I could find a deal on real brackets. I didn't think I would have found them a week later though. I wouldn't have gone through the trouble.

New rear shocks in and wider offset rims put on (which allowed me to get a spare finally) so........I had to test them out

Still not much flex in the front. I have not extended my brake lines yet so the F150 shocks stay on until then. Still have to make it home lol.
