This is my pseudo-build-thread. It's really meant more as a place for me to keep track of what I've done. I'm swapping a 4.0L from a 1992 Explorer into my 1986 Bronco II. Eventually I also plan to re-gear the Dana 35 front axle and 8.8-inch rear axle from the Explorer and install them in my BII.

Finished Mods:
1.) M5OD from 1992 Explorer
2.) BW1354 from same 1992 Explorer
Day 1: It's wet and I don't feel like crawling under the truck so not much done. Colds suck. So does rain.
Started disconnecting the engine bay wiring harness from the Explorer.
Day 2: I'm at work Just ordered an EVTM for both vehicles, less than 30 bucks total including shipping.
Starting to remember that the in-cab harness is cut off at the cannon connector. That worries me though I'm not scared to splice 9 million wires. Wondering if I can replace the connector, re-crimp the wires, and replace everything without having to deal with the old connector.
