Have a beer.Did what you guys said and just replaced them. Thanks joey!I recently replaced the studs on my 91 Ranger rear axle. It is pretty easy. Put rear on jackstands. Remove wheels and drums. Use a heavy hammer and give a sharp rap against the stud, driving it out. Make sure there is room for it to come out, if IIRC the stud should be at about 5:00. Once the ruined studs are out, put the new ones in place, rotating the stud so the serrations line up. Use some never-sieze on the threads and on an old nut to draw the stud up tight into the hole. Congratulations, you've just completed you first stud replacement. Don't tell your wife
