Diff seal leaks from flange?

I need help now! i will start doing my seal then thing is ive seen forum say to use a sleeve kit. well my seal leaks from the front of the flange! right in the center you can see it wet i imagine is still the seal am i correct?

Yes it is.. When you replaced the lipseal and put the sleeve on, did you use a torque wrench to put it back? You're setting the pinion bearing preloaded so too tight or too loose and it'll kill the bearings and it might leak as well.

If the leak is coming from the center of the flange, where the nut is, you need a new nut. The nut's threads have sealant on them and fluid can leak through the threads too.

Sorry i just got on had a long day and i think it was worth it. So i replaced the seal worked great the first time. however i made a lot of marks even measured the depth of the treads to nut first three tries nut was too loose and made a bad whining noise luckily i was flipping the rear hanger so my bed was off :D so after the third time i had the ruler and found out i counted wrong and was tightening one turn less than what it was. well at the end it worked like it should at least today it did not leak a bit this is the first time i ever did this so i guess its fine that i messed up. thanks for the help!
