To my fellow Ranger Station Members.........

Between the PTSD and my son's death I have reached the point that I need to take some time off from the Forum.

The project has occupied my mind helping me to deal with the memories, but it's been a struggle.

You guys have been great in cheering me up and teaching me how to rebuild the truck.

I will continue with the project, but I now realize that I need to devote much more time to dealing with emotional-psychological set-backs.

Thanks again and God Bless You,

doorgunner

Wow...God Bless you DG...

I haven't been following your build thread too much because I'm doing my own...but I now know how medication can make things far and away more challenging than I'd ever dreamed.

Stay safe, have fun...keep the faith!

Thanks Men......it was a rough 100 days.....I'm doing better now/up to about 50% mental/emotional capabilities.

The TRS Banner across North America seems to be doing about the same as me.

Waitaminute....

You're almost done, but just can't manage to finish that little bit at the end?

The headliner? The cupholders?

You guys!

I took the truck on a trip to DestinFlorida......about 350 miles one way.

It did great.....I had the bed loaded down with suitcases. beach umbrellas, ice chests, SNACKS.......while everyone else rode in their big fancy SUV's WITH NO TRUNK SPACE.....LOL!

By the time I got home I had about 750 miles on the trip.....trouble-free.....

NOT BAD FOR A 26 YEAR OLD TRUCK!!!!!

Don't you mean a 81 year old truck, it is a 1934 after all, and my push button machine says 2015-1934=81 :)

Hell...that's the problem... :shok:

A man needs to fish.

It doesn't matter if you catch anything or not.

That's why it's called fishing and not catching.:icon_rofl:

Just sayin'

Last time I went fishing, I kicked back in the boat, dropped a line in the water with no bait, and had a cooler full of ice tea drinks, had a radio playing my favorite music, and took a good long nap, woke up a mile down the lake, BEST DAY EVER.
