Well last night I pulled the battery and tossed it on the charger, solidly mounted the nose cone, set my tire pressure and hung my jacket of the handle bars. If all goes well today I'm going to ride it to work at lunch and change the oil when I get there. Here's hoping!

Ride to work didn't happen today, the damn thing wouldn't start at lunch. So I tossed a new spark bolt in it and tuned some things. Now it starts and runs like a champ. The FMF exhaust sounds killer. Still need to let the air filter dry so I can oil it tomorrow. Then I shall ride!

More and more I think about how nice it would be to bring either the bike or the truck down. Although Chris is already right irate about not having a bike, I'm sure blasting around down there would only make him more jealous:D

I'm going to try and grab some shots of the bike tomorrow if the sun is nice.

Pics:headbang:

Took the bike to work this afternoon and picked up one of the blue Putco lights for the headlamp. I went out after work and grabbed a few shots for you guys.

First dirt ride of the season:D

So whats the difference between yours and the 2009 model? On Suzuki's website it specs that bike out at 278lbs.

It's quite possible that i may just have been wrong with my info:D

The only real difference was the black side panels I put on.

The "MotoMod" is back!

The boredom of being away from my bike has got me wanting to tinker. So an LED tail light will be ordered. I'm looking at the Baja Designs one.

Dead thread revival! I did end up purchasing that tail light and mounted it up. I had to trim it way down to fit efficiently. I cut it right before the drop you can see in the previous post. I left the flatter side parts which I will add reflectors to later on.

Pics time! I haven't done the final wiring yet, but I have tested it and it looks good.

Comparing it to previous pics you can see how this new look really smartens up the bike. And compared to the beginning it looks nigh on modern.

The Moto mod is as done as it's going to be for the foreseeable future. I had done the wiring for the taillight last night, but I couldn't try it out since the battery got pooched over the winter.

So I popped of the side panel, installed the new battery, routed my add on charger cable in a better place and snapped it all back together.

And at the end we are here, looking like a little motard bike instead of a dual sport based on designs from the 80s.

For hilarious reference sake, here is a stock one again from the front, and an almost stock one (with fmf pipe) from the rear.

Didn't get it my friend, if it was aimed at me.
