The pink wire goes to the starter relay. It turns into a red/blue wire right before it gets there.

Ok I have a question and probably goin to answer it, but the only wire that gets hot when you use a jumper wire to put power to the starter solenoid signal wire. I have been all over this truck, checked the alt,and wiring to it, the wires check good on continuity. But I have continuity on the solenoid signal wire with three other wires on the safety neutral switch. Grey/red, and green. I am assuming the wire insulation has melted or cut somewhere in the wire loom/wire bulk head.
