i just did the head gaskets on my ranger and when i put everything back together i have power everywhere but the ignition light wont come on and nothing happens when i turn the key to the start position. the radio and lights and everything else works. i changed the starter solenoid and it still has the same problem. all my fuses are good and all the plugs are connected tightly. as well as all my grounds. any info would be greatly appreciated.

Does the starter turn over just wont start?... if so i had this same problem and it ended up being the ignition module located on the side of the distributor.. hope this helps

Check your main loom plug. Driver side, near brake master, grey, 8 wires. The red one could be the problem. It has a habit of burning/melting the plug. You can repin it if you can find a good replacement.

Other than that, go back and check all the wiring you took apart for the job you did. Clean contacts, zip tie plugs that have the locks broken, etc.
Good luck
