I have a 2000 Ranger XLT and have no idea where to mount switches. Well . .. I know where I could, but it has to look good too. Any ideas or pictures?

Put them in your floor console... that way if you ever, for some reason, have to sell the truck, there isn't a hole in your dash...

If you don't use the ashtray, you can make a faceplate for switches there. Hide away switches.

right now, i have two switches one mounted on either side of the radio bezel.

this is what i want to do:

get one of the cupholder dealios from an older manual trans ranger (i have an auto), and mount my switches where the stick comes out.

I have the Stick shift on my 99. and the housing goes out to under the dash for the stick shift cover. I put 2 switchs there. its pretty nice. out of the way and doesn't look super bad i just kinda messed up the positioning on one of them.

How would you do that? Without ugly holes in anything
Bah, thats true, but maybe you could get rid of the oh shit handle and just put the switches there, then if you ever sell, replace the handle...

Honestly, its your truck, put your switches where YOU think they look good...
