09 remove right seat?

I have a 2009 regular cab base plain Ranger. I almost never have a passenger and I deliver pizza. I need more room in the cab. Is there a way to remove the right side of the split bench seat in my truck and still keep the drivers side of it?

If its a split bench then remove four bolts and yank it out.

Where are those 4 bolts? I need to keep the drivers side seat in as I don't have the $$$ to buy bucket seats.

Seat came out easily with 4 bolts. I put the old bolts back in the holes so fumes don't come in through them. The air bag light is on now. I'm hoping the drivers air bag still works. I will call Ford or a dealer to make sure my side will still work. I guess if I had to I would remove the seat harness and plug it back in.

I'm not exactly sure on wiring, but I would try jumping the plug that was to the seat. If you connect the two sides the computer should think the chair is still there.

My '01 has an airbag on/off switch on the lower part of the dash (in case I use a child's seat on the passenger side). Were those done away with by '09?

Occupant weight sensor; so in event of collision bags don't go off full force with child/small adult in seat, 'cause we weren't smart enough to turn a key... Wife's Escape has them too.

I'm not sure I would want to short circuit it; not sure how smart the switch is.
'09 Ranger passenger seat cushion pad, includes occupant weight sensor - $1224.74 (Auto Nation Ford's online catalog)! For reference, the drivers cushion is only $113.52
