Mine wouldn't boost when I first wired it up either. Turned out I had mis-wired one wire on the VAM. Fixed that and she runs like a bat outta hell. For a relatively stock engine, as it looks like you've got there, the stock EEC system should be more than plenty to run it right.

its not worth the shipping.. jy it.
Does anyone have a dash/ gauge wiring diagram for these things. the 2.8 dash doesn't have a tach so i got one out of another ranger in the back yard but the wiring is fubar.
We just put new fuel lines and a 2.9 tank in it. I have a volvo inline fuel booster pump that were going to run for now.
what wire did you hook up the tach to?

I just realized there are only 2 pics. More to come on that note then sorry. It has a stainless top mount header, .48/.60 turbo, cut rotated square intake, 3" fmic, alum rad, recirc bov, dual optimas and other items. Is already taken out 1 rear end. We have a explorer 8.8 but the driveline flange is different.

I know this is an old thread but did you need to fabricate any mounts to put the 2.3 in there? Just wondering because I'm looking to do this swap soon. Also did you use the bronco II harness and just re pin at the eec connecter?
