OK I wanted to start a thread like we had on the old forum where everyone can post which lockers they run and some details about them, so others can find useful info about which lockers they should choose, this should also be pinned like the old thread on the old forum. So please post your locker info so others may learn from your info, BTW spools, limited slips and "Lincoln lockers" don't count.
Ill start.

Street Manners? You get used to it, not very hard to get used to in the rain and snow. A little noisy but best bang for your buck. .
Off Road Performance? Perfect, don't have to worry about air lines or wires getting torn off, can't forget to engage it.
How Long Have You Had It? 2 years
Any Breakage? Nope
Anything Else? Best locker on a budget

What Locker(s) Do You Run? Detroits

Price? $400.00 each but I bought 'em 6 years ago

What Axles Do You Have? 8.8 & D35

Gear Ratio? 5.13's

Manual Or Automatic Tranny? Manual

Which Axle(s) Is It Installed In? Both

Street Manners? Typical lockers, clunks from time to time which doesn't matter to me since it isn't a Cadillac

Off Road Performance? Fanfreakintastic! Wouldn't wheel without lockers anymore since I don't wheel easy trails anymore

How Long Have You Had It? 6 years

Any Breakage? Not the lockers, just a couple front axles

Anything Else? If you're gonna wheel difficult trails where you lift a tire or two, lockers are the way to go. They're worth the $$$ & the little quirks they exhibit on the street, mine's a daily driver also. Limited slip diffs are just that.........they slip. Don't be fooled into thinking a limited slip will perform like a locker, they are more street friendly though. Yes, I'm biased

Street Manners? not bad at all. clicking on slow turns with no gas. Takes some getting used to, but once you do, you hardly even notice it.
Off Road Performance? I pull Jeeps out of mud holes in 2wd. before i could hardly do it in 4wd.
How long have you had it? almost a year
Any Breakage? none so far (knock on wood). waiting to pop a shaft though
Anything Else? Super easy to install, and once you do, you will wonder how you managed without it.

Locker

I'm using a Richmond Lock-Right in my 88 Super Cab, auto trans and 33" Baja Claws.

When not under load and turning the locker disengages, you can hear it clicking, I never have to worry about it and most of my driving is off road.
Under load it stays engaged on any surface even while turning.
On the street at a stop light waiting to make a right turn it's engaged, hit the gas, turn the wheel and it stay's ingaged and the right tire will chirp through the turn.
Right now I'm looking into a gear change, 4.56 or 4.88
If your truck is not a daily driver or even if it is and you won't mind the chirping, you can get the same result by welding your spiders for the price of a gasket and diff oil.
