2 days after christmas, started my truck and it was pouring coolant.bad timing cover gasket.no problem.new gasket, new water pump, new thermostat, even put new hoses on it.now i have no heat.when you feel the heater hoses, one is hot and one is cold.logic tells me the heater core is clogged, but the truck has never had any stopleak or anything like that in it.so what would have caused the clog?

Air trapped in the core , how did ya fill the system via the cap? Or thru the top core hose ? do a search and most was put the truck on an incline (cap higher than dash) fill it till its full , run it till it stays full after warm up keeping an eye on the gage but may not work right if air locked , but when it's full put the cap on it and should be good
Do the search and that is the jist of the post
