Hey all,
It has been a long time since my last post...things have been pretty good.
I decided to conquer timing belt/water pump as i have 165K and my ride is all original. While i'm there i want to change both rad hoses as well as the the heater hose that comes from the water pump extension.
For the life of me i can't find the hose that is pointed out in this diagram
.
I have looked at RockAuto, Autozone, Advanced, Napa, PartsGeek...the only place i have not tried is the local dealership.
Has anyone ever had luck finding a suitable replacement?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

John

My credo
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
Is that a special "molded to shape" hose?

Or is it just a piece of generic rubber hose? Can you read any writing on it to get the size?

You may just have to go into NAPA or Advance or whoever and say "I need 2 feet of heater hose with X/X" ID. Probably 5/8" or 3/4" ID

Thanks Eric. I talked with a FORD Svc tech. Said that the hose is now obsolete. Go figure. Anyway, I did find a molded hose at NAPA with the 2 90's. I out it back together the other night. Not sure how much $$ I saved doing the timing belt myself bit it was a p.i.t.a. Glad to have it back on the road.
Thanks again Eric for your response
