Like the title say my 2.9 wont start. I got an 88 ranger with the 2.9 it sat for a couple month and I go to start it and nothing. It has about a quarter tank of fuel getting spark on all cylinders, it runs on carb cleaner fuel pressure is about 37 psi. I checked the injectors with noid light and they are all cycling. My question to you guys is what else or what could it be causing the issue.
Thanks

Something of what you said doesn't sound right. Fuel pressure - yes. Injectors cycling - yes. Runs on starting fluid - yes. But/So you do not have fuel!!

What is the fuel pressure when/during cranking? A plugged fuel filter will allow pump to build pressure. It just will not flow fuel. Also, pump runs for two seconds when key is first turned to run. It does not run again until engine is above 400 rpm.

Yes^^ +1

If it starts by manually adding fuel(starting fluid or carb cleaner) than means spark and spark timing are OK.
But if it doesn't stay running when you stop adding fuel manually then fuel system isn't working.

Simple test is to crank engine and then pull out a spark plug, it should be wet with fuel.
All 6 injectors being clogged would be a new one for me.

When you press the schrader valve pin(fuel pressure tester valve) does fuel come out or is it air?
So test if fuel is in the fuel rail
